The Most Important Consideration

When you buy a new mattress, it all comes down to Support.

Organic materials are what you sleep on. Support is what you wake up with. A mattress that holds your spine in its natural line lets your muscles rest through the night, and that is what lets you get up in the morning without the ache. Every LATEXPEDIC Organic Mattress begins with one question: how much support does your body need?

Our 62 years in the mattress industry mean the right organic mattress and the right firmness for you. Three profiles, each in four firmnesses, plus the Orthopedic Firm Organic Mattress, so we can match the mattress to your body, your weight and the way you sleep. Come lie down on every one, side by side, in Burbank or Phoenix.

Three Generations · Since 1964

"Once you sleep on a latex mattress, you are not going to sleep on anything else."

LATEXPEDIC is a division of Electropedic Beds, started in 1964 by Henry Kraus with his sons Lloyd and Philip. The third generation, Zachary, Paul, Ryan and Sasha, works alongside them today. Each organic latex core is made one at a time, each mattress is hand quilted one at a time, and our own trucks deliver and set up everywhere in California, Nevada and Arizona, and gladly take away your old mattress.

Questions

Buying an organic mattress.

Who makes the best organic mattress?

LATEXPEDIC builds what we believe is America's best-built organic mattress. Every LATEXPEDIC Organic Mattress is GOLS certified organic latex (or Natural Talalay latex) from top to bottom, wrapped in GOTS certified organic cotton, completely reversible, quilted on both sides, with handles and zippers and a 20-Year Limited Warranty with no indentation clause. We are a third-generation, family-owned, factory-direct company making mattresses since 1964.

What is the most important thing to consider when buying a mattress?

Support. The right mattress holds your spine in its natural alignment so your muscles can rest through the night. With 62 years in the mattress industry, LATEXPEDIC matches the right organic mattress and firmness to your body, your weight and the way you sleep.

What sizes and firmnesses does the LATEXPEDIC Organic Mattress come in?

Three organic mattresses: the 7 Inch, the 10 Inch and the 12 Inch THE ULTIMATE. Each is available in Soft, Regular Firm, Extra Firm and Ultra Firm. We also make the Orthopedic Firm Organic Mattress, the Firmest Mattress in the Land.

What does certified organic mean for a mattress?

LATEXPEDIC organic latex carries the GOLS (Global Organic Latex Standard) label, meaning a minimum of 95% organic latex inside, from rubber trees grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. Our cotton meets GOTS, the Global Organic Textile Standard.

Can I use an organic mattress on an adjustable bed?

Yes. Latex flexes with an adjustable base without losing its shape. LATEXPEDIC makes organic adjustable bed mattresses for the Flex-A-Bed, Dawn House, Supernal 3 and 5, Ascend, Tuffcare and Latexmatic adjustable beds, in every size from Twin to Dual King and in 74, 80 and 84 inch lengths.

What if the firmness isn't right?

LATEXPEDIC has a 10-Day Mattress Firmness Exchange Policy for $89.00. Because every organic mattress is layered inside a zippered cover, we can change the firmness or the model quickly.
